SANTANDER ESCAPADE with colleagues
As a working citizen you are expected to work 5x a week , 8 hrs a day ( not including the extra hours of work that your boss demanded ) and deal with your not-so demanding hard to please boss. And there comes a point where you just want to give up and give your self a break from work , family and the busy life of metropolis. That’s why ME and my other office colleagues including our GENERAL MANAGER decided to leave the office work , family and the city for the meantime just to unwind and clear our minds again.
At first we cannot decide what place to visit or resort to stay in. As much as we want to go far far away but we cannot avoid to think that we have some responsibilities waiting for us in the office and also we don’t have that grand time to spend to go into a place far from Cebu. In the end all of us agree to go SANTANDER considering that this place is only located at the southern part of Cebu just 4 hours travel from city-location.
I know that i have a very high standards when it comes to beaches. I want a perfect white powdery sand turquoise-colored beach and i think SANTANDER cant provide that blah blah qualities that i am looking , but then again THE HELL I CARE! as long as i can travel and be with the great people then its fine with me.

Before SATANDER is just a sleepy town where you cant trace any tourism activities but now santander’s popularity as a tourist destination has increased in the past few years. Santander is the ideal spot for diving as it’s located in the hub of some world renowned dive spots like Apo Island, Balicasag, Pescador Island, Sumilon and Siquijor This is also reflected in the growth of Santander in the tourism industry. 6 years ago there were only 2 resorts, still open today. Today there are 11.
